Jazmine Becerra Green
“I remembered what had been circling in me: I am beautiful. I am full of love. I am dying.”
― Ada Limon, Bright Dead Things
Hello
I’m Jazmine Becerra Green (formerly Jazmine Aluma). I’m a queer Jewish-Chicanx feminist writer who explores motherhood and life through my essays and articles. Writing is my answer to fear. It’s where I explore and share all the ways in which I get life wrong and the truths I discover along the way. I’m just trying to figure this whole “life” thing out—mostly by falling on my ass and going at it again.
I am currently working on a memoir told through personal essays, and a collection of poetry. My work has been published in The Boston Globe, LA YOGA Magazine, Bust.com, and Jewish Journal to name a few. I live in Los Angeles with my two wildlings. My pronouns are she/her.
If you would like to support my work, the best way is by becoming a paid Substack subscriber.
